End-User License Agreement (EULA)

This End-User License Agreement ("EULA") is a legal agreement between you ("User") and Linus Gidstedt ("Developer") governing your use of the SoundPrepper application ("App").

By installing or using the App, you agree to this EULA. If you do not agree, do not use the App.

This EULA supplements, and does not replace, the standard terms provided by Apple for App Store applications.

1. License Grant

The Developer grants you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App on devices that you own or control, in accordance with Apple's App Store terms. The App is licensed, not sold.

2. Permitted Use

You may use the App to process and trim audio files, manage metadata, and export processed audio files, in accordance with applicable laws.

3. Restrictions

You may not reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the App except where permitted by applicable law. You may not redistribute, sublicense, rent, or lease the App.

4. Audio Processing and Metadata Disclaimer

The App processes audio data and metadata, including but not limited to BEXT, iXML, and related formats.

No guarantees are made that:

  • Metadata is accurate, complete, or standards-compliant
  • Timecode or embedded information is preserved in all cases
  • Output files meet the requirements of any specific workflow

You are responsible for verifying all processed files before use.

5. Data Integrity

You are responsible for maintaining backups of your files. The Developer is not responsible for data loss or corruption.

6. No Warranty

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, to the extent permitted by applicable law. Nothing in this agreement limits rights that cannot be excluded under applicable consumer law.

7. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Developer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of data, business interruption, or workflow errors.

8. Updates

This EULA applies to all updates unless replaced by a new agreement.

9. Termination

This license terminates automatically if you fail to comply with its terms. Upon termination, you must stop using the App.

10. Governing Law

This EULA is governed by the laws of Sweden, subject to applicable consumer protection laws.

11. Entire Agreement

This EULA supplements Apple's App Store terms and constitutes the entire agreement regarding the App.
